Hello Everyone,

July 29- Ps. 49-50, Romans 1
July 30- Ps.51-53-Romans 2
July 31 - Ps. 54-56, Romans 3

The July meeting was such a great time! We had a small group and lots of good food and good conversation. Some of us were ahead and some behind on the reading, but all are enjoying the task to which we have committed ourselves! Whether you have kept up or not, be sure to come to the meetings - totally enriching good girlfriend time!! The next meeting in August has a date change - sorry!!! - I will try to avoid those!!! We will meet on Thurs. Aug. 7th - Please mark your calendars with the date change! Can't wait to see you there!

Remember to make this work for you - for example, I read all of Acts but I decided not to read Job. I wanted to dedicate more time to it instead of starting in the middle. I will finish strong with Job and have time to study more about it. ......If you feel like dropping out because you had a slow start, let me encourage you to start again with the middle of Psalms and the beginning of Romans (Romans starts the last 3 days of July). Those of us who have been reading (and I am one of the worst about dropping behind, then having a couple of catch up days) have found that it is truly not unmanageable - support is great! You can do this and will enjoy doing it with girlfriends!!

Oh.... and yeah!!!! We have one official comment on the blog!! Be brave- post questions, thoughts, responses! Congratulations Lynn on the purchase of your first study bible!!!

Happy Reading All!!

July is Here!

Hello All!
We are now into the third day of July!! I hope you have been better than me and have already linked onto the Gateway site and have read your daily readings......... but if you're like me, you are just looking today to see what is going on! If that's the case, am also adding the schedule into our blog so you can copy and print if you'd like. Remember, we are coming into this schedule in the middle of the year. It will recycle again beginning January 1st. John was written to the Jews to prove that Jesus' life was in concordance what the prophets had laid out. Job was written approx. 2000 years BC - some believe it was the first written book of the bible. This book gives us insight into the works of Satan and address the question Why do the righteous suffer? Acts was written about 65yrs AD and is intended to give information about the birth and growth of the Christian church. Happy reading:
July 1 - Job 20-21, Acts 10:24-48
July 2 - Job 22-24, Acts 11
July 3 - Job 25-27, Acts 12
